The Northern Ohio PGA Section Foundation exhibits a commitment to growing the game of golf in Northern Ohio and using golf as a means of rehabilitation. With a focus on inclusivity, the foundation generously supplies juniors facing financial constraints and a desire to play golf with complete sets of golf clubs as well as PGA Professional instruction, ensuring that economic limitations don't hinder their engagement with the sport. Additionally, the foundation's dedication to education is evident through its annual provision of more than $30,000 in scholarships to high school seniors. The foundation also provides $30,000 in grants to local charities each year. Furthermore, the foundation assists junior tour members with financial aid directed towards tournament participation, providing over $6,000 in aid in 2024. Lastly, it offers therapeutic PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) programs for Veterans and Active Duty Military. HOPE is a 6-8 week instructional program for Veterans taught by PGA Professionals as a means of using golf as rehabilitation.
